🎤✨ Now THAT’S what you call a standing ovation! 😂👏

We had the brilliant Steve O in to entertain us earlier this week, and he certainly got everyone involved! There was singing, clapping, plenty of smiles and even a few residents up on their feet enjoying the music. 💃🕺🎶

It’s safe to say Steve had quite the standing audience! 🤣❤️

🚑 First Aid Training at Brook House! ❤️

A very productive day keeping our skills and knowledge up to date with Andy from CareCo, who put the team through their First Aid training! 👏

From practising with the choking vest and CPR to recognising signs and symptoms, we covered EpiPens, strokes, seizures, defibrillators, the recovery position, DNACPR and plenty more. 🩹❤️‍🩹

Keeping our team confident, knowledgeable and prepared for an emergency is such an important part of providing safe, high-quality care to our residents. 🫶

And of course… Bella joined the training too. Although judging by the photos, we’re not entirely convinced she took much of it in! 😂🐶💤

Last week we had a little celebration for our wonderful Kati, who has officially completed her Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAP) training and received her certificate!

This is no small achievement! Kati has put so much hard work, time and dedication into completing her training, developing an even greater understanding of the care and clinical side of what we do at Brook House.

Kati, you are absolutely invaluable to Brook House and we are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our team. We couldn’t be prouder of you and everything you’ve achieved!
