We are overjoyed, deeply proud and thrilled to announce that The Willows Care Home has officially been awarded the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Quality Hallmark Award in recognition of our high-quality end-of-life care.
While receiving this national mark of quality is an incredible professional milestone, what fills our hearts most is what it represents: the deep compassion, dignity, and warmth that our team brings to our residents every single day.
Ensuring that life’s later stages are lived with comfort, respect, and peace is a sacred responsibility, and we are honoured to support our residents and their families through these moments.
The GSF assessment panel captured the true spirit of our care and culture. And the trust of our families means the world to us, beautifully reflected in this feedback from a resident’s wife:
"She visits everyday and cannot fault the staff - who are very caring and dedicated to the residents - but also how they recognise when she is not having a good day and they will give her a hug and kind words... What she loves is hearing how kind the carers are when speaking with other residents. She is so very grateful her husband is here."
