Jo and Margaret enjoyed a trip out on the minibus yesterday!
Yes, you guessed it…We’re back at one of our favourite places, Waterloo Farm! The wind had certainly picked up today, we nearly lost our hats! However it did us all good to get some fresh air…
Its just the ladies (and Geoff) out today in this blissful weather! We’ve had our usual order of coffee and cake, it never dissapoints!

Today we took the ladies out to Fosse Park where we enjoyed Kentucky Fried Chicken, or as the youngsters would call it, KFC! Margret enjoyed it so much, she went back there the next day with her daughter!
Nothing beats a trip out to one of our local Garden Centres! They always deliver the best coffee and cake…

The residents and staff managed to sit outside again this week to enjoy their coffee and cake! We have been very grateful to have such lovely sunshine recently!

Today we invited our amazing Maintenance guy, Les, along on our minibus trip as this was his last week with us before retiring. We think it was the perfect way to say our goodbyes and a great way to spend his last days with us at Brook House!
Today was the first time in a while we were able to sit outside and enjoy our coffee and cake! We invited a few family members along with us, which is always a pleasure!

On Friday 19th of April @ 2pm we had the pleasure of inviting EAGA Gospel Choir into our home to perform for our residents and their family or friends! It’s safe to say they were truly amazing!

We really enjoyed visiting Palmer’s Garden centre again – It’s one of our chosen favourites for our tea and coffee outings!
This week we enjoyed a slice of cake and a coffee at Attfields Farm Shop Cafe! We had a walk around the farm shop and it was very nice to get out in the fresh air!

Brook House held their annual Easter Tombola on Friday 29th of March 2024! All donations towards our tombola from friends and family were greatly appreciated – Thank you all so much!

This week was a little different for ourselves and the residents…We made our way down to Palmer’s Garden Centre to advertise our amazing services here at Brook House! We had Goodie Bags and Cookies to give away and treated ourselves to a toastie each for lunch. Overall a successful trip!

On a bitterly cold morning, the residents wrapped up warm and made their way down to Langtons Garden Centre where they satisfied their sweet tooth and warmed up with some coffee.

The residents enjoyed a spot of cake and a hot coffee this week at the beautiful Waterloo Farm. The residents were able to enjoy the views of the lake and accompany Geoff on his dog walk! What a lovely sunny day it turned out to be!

It was a day full of love and lots of yummy food for our residents! We each got a chocolate rose, a tasty main course and dessert, love letters, doughnuts and amazing decorations to accompany everyone throughout the day…
